Shadows of Abaddon adds in 11 bosses, arranged with different attack patterns and loot. They all have their own trophies, masks and Treasure Bags to be claimed after they are slain.
Pre-Hardmode Bosses
The Decree
The Decree is a wolf-like boss with 2,000 (4,000) health in its first phase, and 1,250 (2,500) in its second. It can be fought by using a Frost Rune at any time in the Snow Biome, or can be found frozen in ice during a Blizzard post-Eye of Cthulhu. While it can be fought as the player's first boss, it is recommended to fight it post-Eye of Cthulhu, as its fast speed and deadly ice attacks can easily overwhelm a weaker player. The Decree will drop a couple pieces of Decree Fur upon defeat, which can be used to craft a set of weapons and armor. Its Expert mode drop, the Frigid Pendant, will turn the player into a Decree while in the snow biome, giving the player a stat boost as well. |
