Player taking damage triggering Void Warden armor's set bonus (Scale Mail). Taking damage done by enemies also triggers the set bonus.

Void Warden armor is a craftable post-Moon Lord armor set crafted from Oblivion Bars and Traces of Chaos. It takes a total of 42 Oblivion Bar and 57 Traces of Chaos to craft a single full set, or 62 Oblivion Bar and 82 Traces of Chaos if you want to craft one of each chestpiece.

It consists of a Void Warden Helmet and Void Warden Leggings as well as two different chestpieces: the Void Warden Scale Mail and Void Warden Chestpiece. Note that only one of the chestpieces may be equipped at once but both will trigger a set bonus with the head and legs.

The Void Warden Scale Mail gives 25 defense, 35% increased melee damage and +25 maximum health; and the Void Warden Chestpiece gives 40 defense, 15% increased damage, 10% increased damage reduction, and +50 maximum health. The Void Warden Helmet gives 24 defense, 18% increased critical strike and 5% increased damage; and the Void Warden Leggings gives 17 defense and 30% increased movement speed.

A full set always provides a total of at least 41 defense, 18% increased critical strike, 5% increased damage, and 30% increased movement speed in addition to any stats given by the particular chestpiece. When wearing the Void Warden Scale Mail, its set bonus causes all enemies on-screen to weaken upon killing enemies or continually damaging bosses at a 5% chance. If the Void Warden Chestpiece is worn, its set bonus causes all nearby enemies to freeze after the wearer is taking damage. This does not apply to bosses and enemies over 8000 health. Both of the set bonus has a cooldown of ten seconds.
