Soran Forces armor is a post-Moon Lord armor set that is an upgrade to the Vortex armor. It requires an entire Vortex armor set along with 70 Luminous Energies and 30 Tiridium Bars to craft the complete set.
It consists of a Soran Forces Tactical Visor, Soran Forces Suit, and Soran Forces Strides.
The Soran Forces Tactical Visor gives 22 defense, 13% increased ranged damage, and 36% chance not to consume ammo; The Soran Forces Suit gives 43 defense, 20% increased ranged damage, 26% increased ranged critical strike chance, 8% increased regeneration, and maximum health is increased by 100; and the Soran Forces Strides gives 30 defense, 17% increased ranged damage, and 55% increased movement speed.
A full set provides a total of 95 defense, 50% increased ranged damage, 26% increased ranged critical strike chance, 36% chance to not consume ammo, increased life regeneration by 8%, increased max health by 100 and 55% increased movement speed. The set bonus allows the player to enter "Sniper State" by pushing the Ability Key, locking the player in place, including in the air and forming a visible targeting reticle around the player to indicate that Sniper State is active. This mode increase ranged damage significantly and allows the player to zoom out on screen by right-clicking.
