The Midnightblade is a Developer melee weapon dedicated to Dan Yami, the lead developer of the Shadows of Abaddon mod. It can only be used after defeating Abaddon, the Source of the Affliction. Upon use, it will fire a Midnight Beam which pierces through walls and enemies.
