The Star Scourge is a Post-Moon Lord summoner weapon themed around Dustite that can be obtained from The Lost Siblings' Treasure Bag. When used, it will summon a friendly star to fight for you. It will fire "Star Beams" at enemies.
The summoned Star Scourge inflicts Minion damage, but is different from traditional Minions in that it does not count toward the maximum Minion count and only lasts for 2 minutes.
As the Star Scourge does not count toward the Minion cap, it will not cause any traditional minions to despawn.
The summoned star will disappear after 2 minutes.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions cannot deal Critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Star Scourge has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
Notes
- The Star Scourge provides a small amount of light, which can be useful for cave exploration.
- Due to it being a sentry, the Star Scourge does not disappear when the player dies.
