The Distant Spark is a craftable post-Moon Lord sentry weapon that is a direct upgrade to Lunar Portal Staff and Oblivion Rod. It summons a galactic rift at cursor's position that fires a slow-moving beam projectile at nearby enemies. The rift will fire the beam in random directions for two seconds once the enemies are nearby. The rift will deal with contact damage to enemies that come into contact with it.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions cannot deal Critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Distant Spark has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
