This is a Guide page. This means the page will walk you through a specific task, strategy, or enemy/boss fight.

Shadows of Abbadon adds a wide variety of new weapons, armor, and accessories for the player to use against the many new bosses and other enemies, including a significant amount of additional content after the Moon Lord. As such, this guide provides a general outline of various equipment that are fairly effective for each of the available classes (including Thrower), at various stages of the game's progression.

Pre-Hardmode

Pre-Bosses

Start your world as you normally would; gather materials, build a couple of houses and venture underground to increase your maximum health. Gather ores to craft better gear, and go to the desert to collect Tumblesticks for your first thrower armor.

To prepare for the Wall of Flesh, you should get all the loot from the dungeon with golden keys, then with a shadow key get loot from the shadow chests in hell and defeat Jensen, the Grand Harpy.
